Fazl Molana believes that commercial real-estate isn’t just about dollars and cents — it’s about finding unique solutions that drive businesses forward.
After completing his Hon. B.Sc, double majoring in human biology and economics at the University of Toronto (Victoria College), he started his commercial real-estate career in 2007, focusing on office and retail leasing in Toronto. During that time, he worked on mandates for large corporations including Shoppers Drug Mart, Tim Hortons and Pizza Pizza.
He left the brokerage in 2008 to own a car wash in East York, doubling its revenues and securing major corporate contracts — including the Toronto Police — while managing the property on its owner’s behalf.
After selling the business, he returned to real estate in 2014 with a broadened focus on investment sales, office and industrial leasing. The following year he closed over $6-million in real estate while completing his MBA from McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business. At the same time, Fazl completed an eight-month project overseeing Nestle Waters’ corporate real-estate portfolio, and assembling a three-year real estate plan aimed at saving the company almost $1-million per year.
Fazl joined Ambitious Realty in 2018 to lead the brokerage’s leasing team, with over 50,000 sq. ft of retail, industrial and office deals completed. He is especially active on the investment sales side, with over $20-million in sales in 2019 to date. Fazl’s clients include independent investors, REITs and investment funds who seek out his specialization in off-market, mandate-driven purchases of land and commercial real-estate assets.
He lives in Burlington with his wife and daughter, and enjoys travelling, cooking and listening to live music from around the world.
